Twitter

Twitter is a microblogging service that is very popular. Posts are 140 characters or less, so things are short and to the point. As an educator, I have found many discusions that relate to my classroom. It has allowed me to find resources that would take hours to find on my own. I believe it can be a great resources for teachers. One of the most helpful tools in using Twitter is a program call Tweetdeck which is described below. Still not convinced, here are more reasons to use Twitter. If you want a step by step guide for using Twitter, check out the training from Atomic Learning. You will need the password from the media specialist, but it is well worth it as these are high quality tutorials.
